Compatibility

What it pairs with.

Typically paired with the 50 kW and 100 kW cabinet classes inside a compatible charging-station chassis. Verify chassis opening, harnessing, controller, firmware and serial-level configuration before purchase.

Deployment fit — stated plainly

Useful hardware. Defined boundaries.

The strongest surplus offer is the one a technical buyer can qualify quickly. These constraints are part of the product story.

Chassis required

This is a custom module. It is not a standalone pedestal and cannot be installed in the ground by itself. Buyers must have a compatible charging-station chassis.

Condition and date

New, unused, factory-crated, manufactured March 2023. Inspected crate labels show a 1 March 2023 ship date. Stored indoors.

Protocol and connector

OCPP 1.6J. Single CCS1 connector. No NACS. Serial-level records govern the final offered configuration.

NEVI-funded sites

2026 NEVI-funded sites generally require OCPP 2.0.1, and most states now mandate NACS. Best fit: private fleet, depot, commercial and export deployments rather than federally funded projects.

Buy America

No blanket Buy America claim is made. Manufacturing origin and compliance are configuration- and unit-specific and must be verified per serial.

Engineering note

The cable is current-limited to 125 A. Real delivery is 125 A multiplied by the vehicle's DC voltage — roughly 50 kW at 400 V — against a 50 kW maximum at 500 VDC.

Buyer questions

Three questions that determine fit.

Can HPCD5-125-05-000 be installed as a standalone pedestal?

No. It is a custom module that must mount inside a compatible charging-station chassis. The chassis, harnessing and controls must be verified before purchase.

What output should a buyer expect from the cable?

The cable is current-limited to 125 A. Real delivery is 125 A multiplied by the vehicle's DC voltage — roughly 50 kW at 400 V — against a 50 kW maximum at 500 VDC. Vehicle state of charge and cabinet allocation also limit delivery.

How is compatibility confirmed?

Proven Performer can provide available model, crate and serial records. The buyer or EPC should confirm chassis, controller, harness, firmware and certification fit before release.
