Are these new or used?
New. Factory load-tested, never entered field service, and carrying zero recorded operating hours. Factory load test reports are attached to every unit, and manuals are included.
Can they run at 60Hz?
These units are built at 1500 RPM / 50Hz. Conversion for 60Hz service is possible but must be evaluated and completed by qualified Caterpillar engineering and service personnel — it's not a simple field adjustment. Ask for conversion details when you inquire.
Where are they and how fast can they ship?
The units are warehoused in Johannesburg, South Africa, and can be ready to ship in approximately 10 days. These units are not certified to enter the United States market. We coordinate international freight — engine and alternator travel connected in a 40ft high-cube container.
Are they CE certified?
No — these engines are not CE certified. Buyers in markets requiring CE should verify their import and installation requirements.
Can I buy fewer than 11?
Yes — single units and partial quantities welcome. Take-all buyers get the sharpest number.
